[access-uk] Re: PenFriend label update

Hi Alison,

This was most helpful, thanks.

Can you tell us where you are with the labels for tins and what you think of the suggestion, at least for the time being, of perhaps using RNIB magnetic strip with a label affixed? I want to start labelling tins with the PenFriend but don't really want to start one system (to replace my Braille) only to find that there's a better method just coming ... <Smiles>

Hope to hear from you on this.

Hi,
There was an issue that affected a small number of
customers who purchased the first batch of PenFriend,
where some of the labels in the sample pack you receive
with the PenFriend were duplicated in Pack A. This has
now been resolved, so as Trace has recently bought her
PenFriend, she can start with Pack A (product code DL77).

Packs C and D are being produced at the moment.
Following customer feedback we are making a small change
and removing the large round labels in favour of more
small round labels. So the packs will contain the small
round labels and the large square ones that you can
record on and cut into four (with the same audio
recording), if you think they're too big! You will also
get more labels per pack for your £9.99. Regards
Alison

labels:

Hi Trace,
You order Pack B labels at a cost of £9.99. I think
there were some
problems with Pack A so it got scrapped. There are 380
labels in pack B
with plenty of the small round labels you were talking
about.

Cheers,
Sandra.
