Hi Richard,
I don't think you will be able to convert an image into a Word document. For
this to happen, even with the Pro version of Adobe Acrobat X - which I have
- the file would need to be a text file. It will merely create an image file
in the Word document. However, if you have some other means of doing this,
then please accept my apologies.
John.

Hi Mike,
If the file has been scanned as an image, then I don't know of anything that
will actually convert it. JAWS 13 will read the first page of a scanned
image, but it cannot be saved and converted and you would need to scan each
page and read it - quite a labour intensive process. The only option I can
think of is to print the pages and scan in as an accessible document rather
than an image.
Cheers.
John.

Hello,
I have a Pdf file, a book, and it is as an image scan, or viewed as a blank
document by JFW.
I need to convert it, but Kurzweil will not handle a document of its size,
62000 Kb.
Any suggestions please?
Kindest,
Mike
