Andy,
I would guess that they meant ten working days, i.e. not Saturdays or
Sundays. This means that if you purchased on 11 February, which was a
Sunday, your ten working days would be up yesterday, Friday 23 February. I
would not panic quite yet, but might well phone or email on Monday morning
just to put your mind at rest. I have never used the company, but I would
not have sleepless nights quite yet if I were you. Is there a website where
you can track the progress of your order?
David

Subject: [access-uk] Panic re new computer
Hi all.
Perhaps I'm just beginning to panic now, but I purchased a new computer on
11th February from PC Next Day, who advised that delivery would take ten
days, and that I would get an e-mail message around the 8th day, telling me
that it was on it's way. Well, it's now the 24th, so that's 13 days and I
still have not received an e-mail. Unfortunately, because I've been
expecting a new computer, I've been tidying up my old computer and
accidentally deleted the e-mail message sent to me when ordering.
My wife checked out the site tonight and regained my password and sales
number and all that stuff, but the notice stated that the order was
"Complete"
Can this mean that my new computer has been delivered to the wrong address?
Pauline wrote to PC Next Day this evening and got their automatic reply, so
it will not be until next week, before I hear anything more.
Am I just panicking? or is 13 days a bit late, given that I've still not
received my e-mail.
I'm asking the list because I have seen recently a couple of other list
mbers who have used PC Next Day.
Any info would help me sleep tonight.
Best wishes.
Andy
