I think there is a place in Northern Ireland near Enniskillen which caters for
disabled but perhaps Barry would know more about it. Other thing is that you
may not necessarily want to go there. Finally I think most hotels, airports and
entertainment venues now have to comply with legislation re facilities for
people in wheelchair.

Yes I phoned them yesterday, they have a centre in
Southampton, trouble is, with most of the big groups, the
prices are very high and because I am in France, I can't get
any subsidies and grants and as I want to go for two weeks,
that'll cost me in the range of over £2000 and I can't do
that. I am looking at the rnib/vision/rbs hotels and am in
touch with the Leonard Cheshire foundation but I can't think
of any other groups who will take a wheelchair. I don't
think there are very many, I think people who have both
visual impairments and in a wheelchair are few and far
between, there isn't many of us. Not really sure.

You could try www.traveleyes.co.uk, they offer foreign
holidays for disabled or should I say blind travellers but
they are expensive, expect to pay twice the going rate if
you're blind as they subsidise the holidays for sighted
individuals that way.
