George:
Was wondering if a mechanical adaption may be available
rather than spending out for another complete power supply
etc - I gather I have some Scottish ancestry!

We have a Maplin about 600M from home - it looks as if I
need to apply my spurs to dog!

David

If you can take the drive into somewhere like Maplins or PC
World, they should be able to supply you with adaptor
cables.

George.

I need to retrieve some data from a hard drive.
I already have an adaptor which has a 4-pin power connector,
and a ribbon connector for the data.

However, typically, the drive which I need to access has two
connectors - the power and data are quite small.
The drive is:
Seagate barracuda 7200.9 80 G drive.

Do I need to source another converter, or are their any
mechanical adaptors about.

TIA

David
