Folders are spoken as A. B, C, etc. Or you can rename them as class, lesson,
interview etc,. In regard as to identifying the Files within the recorder,
they are named  as to  time and date recorded. Once transferred to the
computer, they are read something like VOC11223344, etc. But you can easily
rename these files.

I have been following this thread with interest.  Am I right now in thinking
that this DM5 is entirely accessible in terms of speech guidance in that, I
would know which folder I was at using the speech and would be able to
identify any of my files in that folder through speech?  In terms of date
and time, I believe this is recorded when a file is produced and again
updated.  Will this information be readily available also?
