The recorders you listed do not have voice feedback.  The new range, DS-55, 
DS-65 and DS-75, have improved voice guidance, including spoken battery 
status.  Also, they are about half the price of the previous DS range.  The 
DS-55 has 1GB memory, the DS-65 2GB and the DS-75 4GB.  The DS-75 has manual 
recording control and the highest recording format is PCM, with the sound 
files in wav format.  Mind you, you'll only get about 6 hours recording time.

I understand the RNIB are waiting for stocks of these recorders, but I 
purchased my DS-55 from Speak-IT Solutions last January.
