Hi John.

The Olympus DS series has been demoed by a number of people on this list and
you could download the files to listen to at your own convenience, by
visiting the following address and clicking on the appropriate link:
http://www.blindcooltech.com/.
Personally, I'd pay attention to those files created by a Mr. Neal Ewers as
these looked deep into all aspects of this device.

I purchased the Olympus DS50 from a British company at:
http://www.iansyst.co.uk/reviews/ds40-review/
For about £250 and I'd highly recommend it.

It seems to me that many folks on this list are Ederal lovers and currently
live under the misapprehension that their Ederal devices are God's own
little children and they will do everything within their powers to change
your mind and encourage you to purchase one of these, other than any other
digital recorders. Don't listen to them! There are others on this list who
have opted for a device known as the Zoom Recorder, who likewise, live
outwith reality. The day will come when all of the people on this list will
arrive at the conclusion that the Olympus DS50 is the best of them all,
hahaha.

You were looking for a British user of the DS50. I'm from Scotland! Do I
qualify?

Please get back to me if you need any more information on this fantastic
little device and ignore all the silly responses on the list that this
message may cause.

Best wishes.

Andy.
