Yes Dean you can cut, copy and paste files from your computer to the DSS
Player but indeed it will affect the player directly. If you delete when
you are looking at it as a Removable drive when you go to your player
afterwards it will have gone.

Subject: [access-uk] Olympus DS moving files
Hi,
I have an Olympus DS player. I can plug it into the computer and it acts
like any other flash drive but can I move and delete files without using
the supplied software without it bothering the player. I'm not sure if
deleting files on the computer will mess up the player when I turn it on.
The player is reviewed on the Internet but this is something I can't find
either from the Internet or in the manual.
