The option will appear on the windows update program to enable "Microsoft
Update" rather than windows update.

Using XP Home and Office 2000
There used to be a facility on the MS web site for automatically checking
your computer for any updates for the above software. Obviously I have run
the general Windows update program and this has not highlighted any
available Office 2000 updates.
I realise that the software is 10 years old and that the facility may have
been removed but if anybody has a link please let me know.
