No, here's an example.

Suppose you have me added.
YOU might type in on the to line: Derek then tab for subject, tab for body
of
 message.
When you do the send, if there is only one Derek in your address book that's
 it!

If there are few Dereks you be presented with the listing, and you just
press return on the one you want.

Another thing one can do is,  suppose you have few contacts from same
company organisation such as RNIB! You could type on the to line RNIB and
 then when you send  message, you be presented with all your RNIB contacts,
 simply press enter on the you want.
