Ray, This is only so if you have a version which has that option. Again, mine hasn't. This is basically the way I located someone's address and said so about a week ago. Yes, it's a bit of a long-winded method but gets me where I need to be if I have to find someone's address and read it character by character, as you do with some. Oh, who'd have such "distress"! Wonderful when you put it to bed at night but we love it really! -- Carol carol.pearson@xxxxxxxxxxxx -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Ray's Home Sent: 28 August 2004 12:44 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: OUTLOOK QUESTION Hi. Just to add a bit more confusion, (well I hope not really, smile, I have just discover something in Outlook Distress. If you can get to the sender field and highlight it then press alt-enter for properties, a dialogue pops up giving senders name and address. Within that is a 'add address to address book' button. Still a bit long winded, but might be doable. No, I definitely don't have the Alt+U option to put people directly into my Contacts and/or Address Book. To be honest, I don't mind not having it as I don't like to use it. I gave up in Outlook Express as I found I was having too many contacts added that I wrote to two or three times perhaps about a certain item and then never again for ages and ages, by which time an address was possibly out of date. I already have well over 400 contacts so I don't mind not being able to use this option though object to the fact that it isn't there! -- Carol carol.pearson@xxxxxxxxxxxx -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Derek Hornby Sent: 28 August 2004 08:39 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: OUTLOOK QUESTION Hi Carol >I am reaching the conclusion that all these millions of versions of >Outlook and MS Office do vary a bit.
