[access-uk] Re: OT braille character

Hi Mark,

It depends which braille e-mail rule you wish to follow.

The general recommendation is to use Computer Braille for web and
e-mail addresses, and so an underscore would simply be dots 346.

Sorry for being a litle off topic with this one, but it is sort of
pertinent
to the pc.

Can anyone tell me what the 6 dot braille symbol dots would be for the
underline symbol on the pc?

A friend has run it through a braille transcription program and it
simpliy
ignored it! It is the shift - character on the keyboard making an _.

For instance, my_email_address@xxxxxxxxxx

Is it possible to write this in 6 dot braille, or is it an 8 dot
computer
braille character? I just want to be able to note down email
addresses
using the Perkins for my own amusement.

Many thanks,
