Thanks much Brendon.  I might well do as you suggest.  Just now I'm scouting 
around for anything that looks as if it will provide subsidised earnings 
whilist getting up and running, some help with access tech - by which I do not 
mean the actual computer - and legal, financial advice and contacts with good 
rates of insurance, etc.

Tristram has already come up with a useful  link too, so I feel as if I'm off 
to a good start.
