Malcolm, thank you - done this now, but can't find understandable results for the scan, it tells me the scan happened at such and such a time, but doesn't say if any viruses were found! NOD32 has a number of ways to perform a manual scan one of the easiest ways is from the desktop but in your case I would advise an in-depth scan. Here's how to do it. Locate the NOd32 Control centre in your system tray. Press space. Protection Modules are the first item highlighted. This should be open. If you arrow down you should reach NOd32. Press Control Tab and you should have a number of buttons, the first should be Local. Tab once to In-Depth Button and press space. This will initiate a scan and clean operation with the detection parameters set to their most sensitive. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Andy Collins" <Andy@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, April 22, 2006 7:50 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: OE problem Same here > Hi Sandra - this is very kind, it's a manual scan I want to do, to see if > I've any viruses, and to clean them out if I have! > > Andy > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Sandra Henshall" <oceania@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> > To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Sent: Saturday, April 22, 2006 7:31 PM > Subject: [access-uk] Re: OE problem Same here > > >> Hi Andy, >> Are you looking to do a manual scan or set up one in the scheduler >> planner.
