Hi Andy,
Go to the system tray icon and press enter. In the tree view, go to the
threat protection modules, expand the tree and go to the last entry which
says Nod32. Press control tab to get to the other half of the screen and
then you've a conventional Windows property sheet with various tab controls
with options regarding what and how you want to scan. It's just a lot of
check boxes, radio buttons etc but there is a default setting. Once you've
set up what you want, go back to the first tab sheet and there's a button
labelled run Nod32. Press the space bar on that and you should hear it
running. You'll know when it's finished because you'll hear the sound you
hear when a download has completed.
I know this sounds a bit garbled but I'm not very good at writing
instructions. If I've not explained it very well, come back to me off list
and I'll try to explain in more detail.
Good luck.
Cheers,
Sandra.
