Oh dear! Don't believe I Have a recovery disk, is this something I should
have created when I got this system 2 years ago?

when you put in the recovery disk, you choose it from there, you will need a pair of eyes.

Simon - I've gone back to the start of the year, selecting different restore
points, but nothing solves anything that way! How do I reformat? Never done
that before
