[access-uk] OE 6 and the Escape Key to Close Messages

Hi List.

Over the last couple of days each time I hit the Escape key to close an open 
message, after doing Control R to make a reply, I find the message is no 
longer closing as it should. Instead I'm having to use the alt F4 
alternative.

The escape key works fine when closing a message I've read and want to keep, 
but if I go to make a reply and then change my mind, the escape key is no 
longer working.

I haven't made any alterations to my settings either.

Can anyone offer up any suggestions as to what might be going on?
