Hi Kevin,

Do you have earlier versions of Wayfinder installed? If so, uninstall them.

Also, make sure the date is right.

Also, make sure that in Tools, Application Manager, Options, Settings,
Software Installation is set to All, rather than Signed only.

If none of that works, contact me, or give me the exact error that your
phone gives when you try to install.

All the best

Steve

Hi Saqib,

You should be able to uninstall Maps in Application Manager, then you
should be back to the firmware version, which is 1. Better yet,
Wayfinder Access is a better option<Smile>.

All the best

Hi I just upgraded the software to Nokia Maps 2.0 and it's not
happening anymore. The search is more extensive but everytime I go in
my location isn't saved and I have to select my address from
favourites and select show on map and then do my searches. I would
prefer the Nokia maps 1.0 and don't know how to downgrade to it. This
version is more visual.

     Hi

I recently tried Nokia maps on my N95 8gb and was pleasantly
surprised at how effective they were. It works well with Talks. As
to your being thrown out, I think before I purchased a licence the
first screen was silent and I needed to press key 1 to move to the
next. Is this happening with you or are you definitely not able to
     access the program?

     Regards.

_Hi. Everyone For some reason I'm getting booted out of Nokia
maps for every time I start up the application. Has this
         happened to anyone before? _

Well I would like to try way finder but when I try to install the prog
on my N82 I get an error message it gets nearly to the end of the
installation then says can't install.

It's a shame I have downloaded the file twice and I am using the correct
version for this phone.

Any ideas would be good.
