I suppose that is a possibility although I have not experienced it. 
Normally, how many bars todo you have indica        ting signal strength? 
You can check by pressing the talks key followed by key 2.

Hi there Peter.  Hope all is going well.

But until a couple of days ago, I was using the phone all around my house
and community.  Could the problem have something to do with the fact that my
wife Pauline was giving me instructions, whilst I was sitting in front of my
computer?  I vaguely recall something about signals being interrupted by
broadband connections?
