The Nokia 6124 is exactly the same as the Nokia 6120C which has been
specially mangled for vodafone. It does mean that if you want to leave
vodafone, your stuck with it. It is a nice little phone, but leave vodafone
out of the equation. When we were looking for a new phone a year ago, they
offered us the 6124 but said it couldn't have talks on it. Getting service
from vodafone is like rullette, it depends exactly on who you get.
