Hello robin,

You don't say which version of Talks is installed, so I'll assume it 
is the latest one, 3.005.  Sounds like you have the caller ID set to 
too short a time for the ring tone to sound.  go into the Talks setup 
menu by pressing Talks Menu, go to the automation tab sheet and the 
first option is how long before the person who is calling is 
announced.  Press select and choose from off, 1, 3, 5, 10, 15 and 20 
seconds.  Hope this helps.
