Hi Tris, It's not as difficult as you would imagine, but you would, as you say, need an electrician. My dad simply wired a normal plug socket to my boiler and I just plug the cobolt timer into it. I can then completely control the central heating clock with it. It is certainly a topic of conversation when the gas man comes to service our boiler <Smile>. It may still be available. However it would be worth contacting Cobolt about it to see what kind of connections their unit has to see whether it would work. It would require installation by someone who is competant with electrical wiring or an electrician. Have a look at www.cobolt.co.uk from where you will be able to get the telephone number. Regards. Does anybody know of a device that can be used to enable a person with no sight at all to be able to use a LCD boiler control. I imagine it would need to be a speaking device to read the control and tell the user what the temperature is, etc. Any ideas or available technology that could be used?
