Hi all.
i just purchased the Creative Labs, Soundblaster Platinum to take over for
my old external card, the Soundblaster 24 bit. this was rather an expensive
purchase which in total, given a home visit from an engineer, cost me over
£200. Unfortunately, I don't think that my version of JAWS, which is
version 9, likes this change too much. Jaws is crashing quite regularly ,
though may come back after a pause and a couple of ALT TAB's. When It does
completely crash, my card still seems to work as I can hear the Window Exit
sounds when I shut my computer off.
I don't even want to start thinking about getting the engineer back as he
did not have a clue about JAWS does anyone think that it may prove
worthwhile to uninstall and re-install JAWS?
Best wishes.
Andy.
