Hi all

Just a quick note for anyone interested, apologies to those of you who might
receive more than one copy of this. I am a newcomer to GPS (Global Positioning
System) navigation technology, and in response to demand from other users I
have set up a new discussion list for people with an interest in the use of
Mainstream GPs solutions by people with a vision impairment. At the moment I
have received interest from quite a few users of Talks and Wayfinder, but we
would also welcome discussion of any other mainstreamGps applications being
used by vision-impaired people. You can subscribe to the list by sending a
blank e-mail message to mainstream-gps-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
with the word 'subscribe' in the subject line, or by visiting the following web
page
//www.freelists.org/list/mainstream-gps
and following the instructions from there.

If you are reading this message on the UK-guide-dogs mailing list an dwant to
send me any comments, please either write to the new list or e-mail me directly
using jamesodell@xxxxxxxxxxxx, as I am a 'web only ' member of that list at the
moment.

Best wishes and thanks for your time

James
