I think that it is a considerable step forward to have the Potter book available in braille on the day of publication. I am not really a J K Rowling fan, but if they can do it for this book, then it must be good news for other books in the future. Yes, an audio book would be good on the same day, but this is not the time to whinge and whine about that. It is a positive move, and we should welcome it. -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Mel Spooner Sent: 06 July 2005 09:08 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: New Harry Potter book I for one am very happy to see this book in Braille. Personally I don't think we should be criticising the fact that it has been produced in Braille but continuing with the campaign as a whole to get more books available to visually impaired people. I have ordered my Braille copy today and look forward to its arrival. Mel E-mails and any attachments from Nottinghamshire County Council are confidential.
