[access-uk] Re: Netbook and TV hook up

Hi Mark

Will have a closer look at the netbook to see what the options are.

I would imagine the HDMI would be the best option, though I would doubt a
net book would have an HDMI out?

I use a scart input on a splitter plug that has Svideo and a pair of phono
stereo audio inputs. For this I need a stereo jack to phono audio cable and an svideo to svideo cable to connect. Neither my tv or the pc have hdmi so
this is the only option. If the net book has an Svideo output then this
would work, however the screen resolution on mine is very low. An HD tv
could well have a much better viewable area but the limitation would be what
the Svideo can supply.

The first step is to work out what inputs and outputs you have on each
device and then see how they can be interconnected.

Subject: [access-uk] Netbook and TV hook up

Hi

I want to hook my netbook up to my TV which has PC input. In the past to
do
something like this I have used the cable with the screws on the ends
(sorry

can't remember name) and an audio lead. Is there any way to use one
connector to work for both audio and display?

Hope I am making sense here!
