DigiTV has two methods of controlling the program when minimised, namely
pop up, which is a graphical interface or context, which is the way thee
task bar normally operates. By default, DigiTV is set to use the pop up
graphical interface.
To change this, you need to go into file/settings, where you are faced with
a tree structure of all the components you can change.
By default, you are placed in the general branch, so to get back to the main
tree you need to press the left arrow, then press the down arrow once and
you will hear "display". Now press the right arrow key and you will be in
the general page for the display settings.
Now press the tab key many times until you hear "system tray" and "animate
icons", which should not be checked. Then tab once to the second system
tray item which is probably set to mouse hovver, you should down arrow on to
right click. Then tab to the third system tray item where you should check
the "auto show" box.
Tab one last time to the fourth system tray item which will say "pop up box"
you will need to press the down arrow key to select "context menu".
Tab to the O.K. box and press the space bar.
Your system tray should now work exactly like any other windows program.
Finally, I must correct myself about turning off DigiTV through the system
tray task bar, it does not actually say turn off it says "shut down".
Sorry about that.
