pressing alt plus f4 is the same as pressing the power button on the remote 
control. DigiTV is then minimised to the task bar, but it doesn't actually 
turn the system off.

To completely turn off the system , use the applications key on the task bar 
icon and select turn off then hit enter.

However the USB device is always powered and DigiTV will spring into action 
if you have a timer set.

If you have any problems with using the task bar with DigiTV, send a fresh 
post to the list and someone will explain how to set up your system to use 
the non-graphical interface with your task bar.
