Vincent, what are the best voices to use with NVDA?, Billy -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Vince Thacker Sent: 15 November 2011 23:52 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: NVDA Andrew, To get to change the voices, assuming there are some installed, use Insert + N to get to the NVDA menu, then Preferences, then synthesiser and /or Voice. There are some free voices on nextup.com, not that they're great, but they work. You can Google for this. Quite likely, changing synthesiser from eSpeak to SAPI4 or SAPI5 will unearth some existing voices. On the NvDA menu, there is the Help item, which includes a quick keystroke guide. Once you change settings, save the configuration. Insert + N then S to save.
