Don't you just love the term "up to".  And so precise at "up
to 246 minutes" - why don't they just say "four hours" and
skip the 6 minutes.

What they don't tell you is what it will drop by if you
leave Bluetooth on, and wireless scanning on, and all the
other bells and whistles.

They are just as bad as the broadband suppliers - with their
"up to" 8 megabytes, but only if there is a mere 50 feet of
telephone cable between you and the telephone exchange!!

It's time Trading Standards imposed a "minimum" on these con
artists!

According to the Technical Specification for the N73, which
can be 
found on the Nokia website, the Operating Times are up to
246 minutes 
talk time and up to 350 hours on standby.  Both these times
are given 
for GSM.  The relevant extract from the specification is
below my signature.
