[access-uk] Re: Mobile phones and hearing aids

Hi Andy

To hear through a loop you'd need the phone fitted with an induction coupler. My investigations cannot find a single phone fitted with a coupler and the manufacturers say it's too difficult to fit one in close proximity with certain other parts of the phone.

The nearest alternative is a Bluetooth headset. Take a look at the Gordon Morris web site. A Google will give an address. They always used to be quite good at solving mobile phone problems for HOH people.

Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once.

Hi all -

Can anybody recommend some kind of system where I can hear my phone through
the loop system in my hearing aids cordlessly?
This is for when I am out and about, so can't where earphones!
