No. The only way is the press the edit key twice, select on the predictive text submenu, down arrow to edit word and select on it. Write out the word using normal texting mode, then press soft key 1, ok. Your word will be added to the predictive text's dictionary so the next time you press the combination of keys to spell the word it will list your new word as one of the matches. Hope this helps.

Now that I have got very quick at predictive text there is the occasional word that needs editing. When I was writing character by character I could go back with the cursor character by character and delete the inaccurate character and replace it. With the predictive text I find myself going back and deleting all the characters of a word and then writing the word again. This is a little laborious. Is there a quicker way?
