    Thanks for your suggestion. I did install the latest Espeak version which 
said it was SAPI5 COMPATIBLE. It still did not show up in the Windows text to 
speech settings box. Looking at the read-me notes there were some instructions 
about looking for available voices in the

    "espeak-edit/voices folder". The Espeak foler was there but not the 
sub-folder. So I am back to square one.

    Espeak won't show up because it is not a sapi voice. There is a sapi 
version available though.

      Have been looking at the DAISY plug in. It uses the Windows default 
voice. In my system I only have Anna. How do I make other voices available ? I 
do have NVDA on the computer but the E-speak voice does not show up in the 
Windows settings list.

       

      Any suggestions please.
