Hi Gerry.

Mesh used to be considered one of the best companies for service along with
Evesham and others so it is a shame that support has gone down hill if
indeed it has.

We see this all the time, most noteably with off-shore call centres,
helplines with over complex structures of menus to work through or poor
quality support staff.

I think that accountants often see call centre support as a good place to
reduce costs but this more often than not proves to be a mistake. Past
reputation counts for little as if you change your services for something
that is substandard the word soon gets round.

I would always ring the company first and see what the company's attitude is
like. are they helpful? do they offer you what you want or are they just
interested in trying to sell you one particular machine? You can often make
a decision on gut instinct.

Cheers

Graham

Subject: [access-uk] Mesh computers

Hi,
On Watchdog last evening, BBC 1, 8.00 P M, Wednesday, one of the
programme's featured was Mesh Computers.
Apparently, hundreds of complaints have been levelled at them by
purchasers of their products! Their Customer Service was regarded as
almost none existent, and their machines were being constantly returned,
again and again, by disatsfied customers. Although at the end of the
feature, Mesh said immediate improvements would be organised, frankly, I
wouldn't advise anyone to deal with them till their expressed improvements
have been clearly demonstrated for several months.

Kind regards,

Gerry.
