the colours are described by JAWS 11 as graphics. You can select a colour by pressing ENTER on it.

In the edit box type bathmat. Then select plain dye bathmats. You will see mink and white.When reading this with Window-eyes the colours are not on a link or combo box.and I can't select them with the mouse. If you could follow this exactly with Jaws, I would be most grateful.
