Thank you Neil, this has helped a lot.  Unfortunately the form is not well
designed so its going to be interesting!  Its given me an insight into
designing forms though.  Thanks again.

Hi,

depending on how the form was created, you might try protecting the
document 
from the Tools menu and make sure  the "forms" radio button is selected
and 
not "track changes" radio button.
Once protected, and assuming the form was created in the way I create mine

from the Forms toolbar, you should then be able to tab through the form
and 
enter the text accordingly.
If the form-designer has really got their act together you'll also hear
the 
relevant question spoken as you tab to the field and you may also have F1
or 
Status-line help but that depends on the designer.
