\my spologies \i am using a laptoop and for some reason my finger seems to by lying on that bash slash. \normally \i do not use the laptop for correspondance unless using an external keyboard. \i hate laptops though they have their uses indeed and \i would not be without one.

If that's the case, you need to press the hash (#) key *before* the letter(s), then press hash (#) again before the next letter, which will be a lowercase letter.
