Hi Amro.

One problem could be if the new computer has Vista then there is in fact no
screenreader as far as I know with possibly the exception of system access
that has a release version that works with Vista at the moment. Window-eyes
has a beta version available to the public. Dolphon and Freedom Scientific
will be releasing vista ready versions soon.

Secondly, Lunar is not really a screenreader at all either. Lunar is screen
magnification software and Lunar Plus includes some speech but these
products are primarily for users with some vision that is useful for reading
the svcreen.

Regards

Graham

Three suggestions in addition to what's been said-

1. FreedomBox from freedombox.info.
2. Connect Outloud from Freedom Scientific. This is, as I understand it, a
downgraded version of Jaws. So no learning is needed if you're a Jaws user.
3. Lunar from Dolphin Group. This is again a downgraded version of Hal
screen reader.

These three programs aren't free but they're a lot cheaper than the main
screen readers. I'm not sure if there's a downgraded version of Window Eyes
too. But if I may ask, what's stopping you from using your current screen
reader with your new computer?

HTH,
Amro
