Lloyds TSB on line banking
I don't know why people are worrying about it. It's very straight forward and
not scary in the slightest. If you haven't set up any phone numbers then you
wont be called, but then you'd have to use the even more difficult process of
reactivating your account.

What would you prefer, a system doing the occasional automated check, or do
what other banks are doing were you have to have a device next to your computer.

I have not had this happen and I certainly hope it doesn't.

What a pain in the neck that would be, <sigh> As if things aren't complicated
enough.

Regards.

  Hi Roger

yes I can log in but its when I want to pay someone some money or add a new
recipient to my account. It is genuine as I spoke to a lady from Lloyds
yesterday when she rang to reactivate the account.

Until the beginning of this year when she retired Pam worked for Lloyd's TSB.
I showed her your post and she was surprised. She went on-line with her own
account and never experienced what you did. She typed in the usual log-in
details and password. This gave her access to her accounts in the usual way.

We are wondering if you may be the victim of a scam and recommend you contact
your branch immediately for reassurance.

    Hi

I see that Lloyds TSB have changed the security system on their on line
banking. They now ring you and you have to put in a 4 digit number into the
phone before you continue your transaction.

How have other Lloyds TSB users overcome this problem when they have no
sighted person around to help?

    Thanks

    Debbie
