Yeah George, just reading that on Wikipedia and some other site. But as one reviewer put it, who gives a s**t. Serves the Real Player people right for producing such a crappie program. I want an application to play RM files, not to install all sort of rubbish on me computer and takes up half of the processing power of me machine. I won't be uninstalling RA anytime soon that's for sure!

Peter, I was just about to send a message along the same lines as the
one you sent to which I'm replying now.  You're not the only person
wondering what is illegal about Real alternative.
