Yes, just switch to advanced mode and you can quit easily.

Thanks for the tip, Steve.  Does it apply to Eset Smart Security too?  I
have recently switched to the latter from NOD32 and when I needed to quit it
temporarily, I had to do so via the MSConfig utility and a couple of
re-boots.
