I'm still using version 8 also but it seems a very reasonably priced upgrade considering the cost of other similarly priced assistive tech software, like Jaws.

Thanks for the vote Steve. Sounds as though it is worth it, though I don't use the programme massively, which is one reason I didn't upgrade regularly.-- Carol carol.pearson29@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxOn Tuesday, January 06, 2009 11:44 PM (UK time), Steve Nutt at steve@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx said:Hi Carol, Personally, I would upgrade. The accuracy of scanning is far better in V11 than 8 and it is worth it for that alone. It will cost you I believe 105 pounds. However, I learned from a friend that there hasn't been an upgrade for a couple of years and, surely, there may well be one due very soon. I decided to wait just a little longer since I didn't want to buy an upgrade only to find another was out in two months' time! In view of the fact that you only have to buy the current upgrade, and taking into consideration the amount of time since the last one came out and when you might expect another to be available, can anyone advise whether it's worth my upgrading at this time - or should I just hang on for the next version? Perhaps I'll hang on for ever if I do! <Smiles>** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq -- No virus found in this incoming message.Checked by AVG.
