Hi Steve and thanks.

NO, in fact it is the Kindle itself.

John,

I'm pretty sure your friend has discovered the only two ways of increasing
the text size. Just for clarity, would I be right in thinking this is the
Kindle app for an iPhone, iPad or Mac computer? If it's the latter, then it
might be possible to resize the Kindle window so that she doesn't have to
drag the screen.

Subject: [access-uk] Kindle Font Sizes

Hello list,

This is on behalf of a friend who has more vision than I do.

She has looked at a Kindle for her own use.
She has found that the standard font size increments available do not make
the text quite big enough for unstressed reading. Also, she does not like to
use the zoom facility as then she needs to constantly use her fingers to
move the screen between the left and right side of the image.

Apart from using the standard font expansion facility available in the
Kindle is there any other way of expanding the font and retain the Kindle
facility of changing the page layout to match the font size?

Thanks in advance.

Regards, John
