Hi David
A question please coming from a student's perspective. How easy is it to
navigate and jump through the Kindle books though? For instance, I might
want one for reference purposes. Would it be any use for that kind of work
in your opinion, or is it really for people who just want to read a book
from beginning to end?

The new Kindle costing £89 is not accessible, but the Kindle Keyboard,
costing £109 is if you can find it. Amazon do not have it in stock. The 3G
Kindle at £149 is exactly the same regarding accessibility as the Kindle
Keyboard but has 3g connectivity as well as wi fi.
Once the Kindle is set up, you can purchase books using your pc. You have
to have a kindle account and register it on Amazon. Then you can purchase
books and add them to your kindle yourself. Purchasing books has to be done
on the pc though unless you have sight.

Thanks Mark that is really helpful. When you say you can?t order from the
Kindle, can you download books onto the Kindle if you order books online or
do you need to get someone to order all your books for you? Also, you
mention the 3G version. Is this an older version and, is there any better
version to get to enable you to order books from the Kindle?
