Sorry for being late on this thread, but I'm just catching up on hundreds of
e-mails after ten days away.

I'd be interested to know whether anyone has had success in obtaining the
KNFB Reader through Access To Work.  Is it the kind of product they are
willing to fund, or have most people found it necessary to fund it
themselves?

Actually Elanor, I'd say you'd have a much better chance of getting the KNF 
over the DBT upgrade any day.  Duxbury is hardly going to give you much 
additional functionality, mind you, I guess it does depend on which version 
you have.  If it is pre 2005 I think the braille code has changed.  I'm sure

you could put forward a suitable case for being able to read supplementary 
notes and classwork if you go to their workshops.
