hi Iain, I looked in: the ENU folder in freedom scientific, jaws10,
settings, enu.
There are no WLM scripts in there at all, could the scripts be in another
place?.
Here is what it says in WLM when I press jaws key plus q:
Windows live messenger. 14.0.806.4.206. settings are loaded. the aplication
currently be used is: msn msgr.exe, or something like that,
Billy

There should be scripts in your Shared settings folder for both Windows
Live Messenger and MSN Messenger. In Windows Live Messenger, what does
JAWS say when you press JAWS key and q?

Iain, I have tried it out, and none of the main functions like, hearing
contacts signing in, and signing out, announcing messages and replies in
conversation windows, etc.

If you try it, you'll see it works. make sure you have the latest
version of JAWS 10.

hi Jill,thanks for the reply.
I like you thought the new Jaws10 was already scripted, but I checked
the ENU folder, and hey presto, no scripts at all,

billy! Maybe things have changed but as far as I'm aware, (thanks to
this list and others) there aren't any separate scripts. J 10 is
supposedly scripted to work already. Pardon me everyone if I've got
my facts wrong. Just never seen anyone refer to any, and have seen
messages similar to what I've just said in the past 2 months.
Jill.
