Hi Eleanor,

You can put it in your system tray, so its not in the taskbar. Go to JAWS basic 
JAWS setttings and check the box to run JAWS from the tray. Then restart JAWS.

Do I have to have Jaws minamised on the Task Bar?  It is taking up room.  Can I
