Hi Andy,

It's your AVG that is causing this, by adding a text
attachment which says:-

No virus found in this outgoing message.
Checked by AVG Free Edition.
Version: 7.1.375 / Virus Database: 267.15.7/259 - Release
Date: 13/02/2006

You can turn it off, but I'll have to defer to other AVG
users as to exactly how.

George.

Hi Peter.

I don't know why this is mate. I didn't realise that this
was the case. Actually, a large number of my messages
coming in are stating that an attachment is there but on
further examination, there is none. A settings thing
perhaps? Any ideas? Best wishes. Andy

Andy, why do all of your e-mails say that there is
an attachment?

                Hi James.

Thanks for that. I knew that Amro was
pointing me to the correct area but I just could not find
it. Thanks again. Best wishes. Andy

                        Hi Andy

If you're using a recent version of
JAWS it's under"text Processing Options", not "html
options". Don't forget to press control +shift +d after
pressing insert+6, to open the default configuration file.

                        James

                        Hi again Amro.

I rebooted and when at the desk-top,
I did an Insert 6 and got to the jaws configuration manager.
I did an Alt IF, right arrow and hit enter on html options,
but I cannot find a check box referring to language.

The clue is in the question, Andy!
:-) It's the Configuration Manager what you need (Insert+6),
not the Script Manager! From the Config Manager's menu bar,
choose (Set Options). The HTML Options sheet is the second
item on the dropdown menu. I'd modify the Default JAWS
Config Manager if you need to stop language switching across
all applications.

                        HTH,

                        Amro

                        Hi Amro.

I'd like also to get rid of that
very annoying voice. You said "Bring up the HTML Options
sheet from the Default JAWS Configuration Manager "

When I press Insert 0 I get to the
script manager, but I cannot find the html option sheet.

Can you please advise me how to do
this Amro. Thanks. Best wishes. Andy

                        Hi Sunil,

Do you mean the automatic language
switching? Bring up the HTML Options sheet from the Default
JAWS Configuration Manager and make sure that the "Detect
Language" check box is unchecked.

I can't remember how to do it...cheers
