What screenreader are you using? The more recent releases of Jaws and WindowEyes work well with iTunes and there are some scripts that give additional spoken feedback when installed which can be reassuring when you're starting out. -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of David Sent: 19 August 2010 15:49 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: I-tunes HI Carol I have not yet bought the Apple touch, but I went to look at one and I was greatly impressed with it. Yesterday I went and looked at Itunes and I could not make my screen reader read the screen so I am presuming that it is very graphical, so I am a bit stuck. Let me know when you have it and how you like it. I find it a real slog to understand and I'm supposed to be a quote 'super user' unquote. Admittedly I've never read any instructions. So basically you run iTunes, you put a CD in the drive and it sucks it up into your computer and hence onto your iPod. It's mostly quite simple in theory. Or you may prefer to download something like the beautifully accessible Cdex, rip all your CDs into mp3 files and then import them to iTunes. Either way, you just put the CD in the computer's CD tray, it recognises it immediately, and starts sucking up all the music onto your hard drive. There's nothing stopping you from downloading both iTunes and Cdex this afternoon and testing it out before you get an iPod. You'll just be missing the final step of pushing it onto your portable player. Was that helpful? Hit the thumbs up sign if you liked what I said. Oh but there isn't one. ...Damon -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Moty Azrad Sent: 17 August 2010 15:44 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: I-tunes Hi david, Unfortunately, here, no one answers about I-tunes and I asked here some questions and now answer yet.
